This is the field of medicine
that deals with the parts of the human anatomy that constitute
the urogenital system i.e. kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate,
penis and testis with their appendages.
UROLOGY/UROLOGIC SURGERY is a medical specialty concerned
with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with disorders
affecting the male and female urinary tract as well as
the male genital and reproductive system. A uuologist/urologic
surgeon may provide either surgical or non-surgical care
depending on the nature of the illness. The field does
tend to have a bias for the the male gender.
